REPORT: Browns planning to cut Manziel; will be released next month

It was announced today that the Cleveland Browns are parting ways with Johnny Manziel in order to free up cap space. This resulting after another incident with Johnny Manziel and his girlfriend. This was apparently the last straw with the organization, as Manziel has had a string of off-season issues since getting drafted back in 2014.

Since Jackson was introduced as the Browns' coach on Jan. 13, he has said that Manziel's future with the team would be decided after he had been evaluated as a player. On Tuesday, Jackson said he has begun that evaluation process but he was not ready to make a decision on Manziel.
"I think I'm getting more and more where I need to be as far as our team, exactly who they are," Jackson told ESPN Cleveland. "Obviously, as I've said from day one, I'm going to continue to evaluate Johnny, just as I would any member of this football team. Obviously, there's other circumstances that you also have to evaluate when you're considering putting everything in the pot to make decisions as you move forward.
"But again, he's no different than any other player. We're going to continue to evaluate him as a football player and as a member of this football team."

New Cleveland Browns head coach Hue Jackson has had enough of the mans lack of responsibiliy. and did something that former head coach Mark Pettine didnt want to do because of pressure from the fanbase and organization. This is much of a surprising move, it was predicted Manziel would be cut simply knowing Hue Jacksons demeanor and personality as a coach. He is showing progress as a new head coach, displaying that he has a no-nonsense attitude towards players. In order to play for his team, you have to earn the opportunity. Getting rid of distractions, he is ready to prove that this Browns team is a lot more capable than their record shows.

Meanwhile for the former first round pick, he now searches for a new team to play football with. But in order for this to happen, the man needs to get his act together. He has the skills to play in the NFL, but off-field issues are a concern for any potential NFL teams who are interested and would take a chance on him. If a team were to sign him, then we'll know that he has the skills to play in the NFL, and quoting from Eminem, "you only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow." Don't waste it.
