There is no time remaining, the football year is over, and it had its glorious ending, with a dominant champion. This is the Denver Broncos, the Super Bowl 50 Champions. They beat the Carolina Panthers 24-10 on Sunday, as their Defense dominated the contest. They were able to force two turnovers and get six sacks on Cam Newton, a Super Bowl record. Von Miller was awarded MVP, he had 2.5 Sacks, with two strip-sacks resulting in turnovers. Peyton Manning finished what was likely his last game with a Super Bowl Game. The defense created problems and it led to a well-deserved Super Bowl for the Broncos.
During the celebration, John Elway dedicated the Super Bowl to Pat Bowlen, the ailing owner for the Broncos, simply by saying "This ones for Pat" in an emotional tribute speech. In 1998, the Broncos won their second Super Bowl, and owner Pat Bowlen dedicated the win the Elway, whom at the time was the QB for the team and was playing his final year, by saying "This ones for John."
When asked about Peyton Mannings possibility of retiring, he simply said it was a personal issue and has to "focus on a lot of beer". We will wait to see if he will announce his retirement.
