I will be currently updating the article with latest commitments and declarations. Throughout the day I'll put up more and more recruits declarations to attend.
Yesterday, 9:30 PM:
Yesterday was an active day for the Miami Hurricanes. Although they did receive a commit in 4 star safety Romeo Finley (Niceville), it wasn't a good day to say the least. Miami lost two commitments from top ranked ATH Tyler Byrd. He announced on Periscope that he will be heading to Tennessee.
8:17 AM:
-Nigel Warrior heads to Tennessee
The four star recruit from Ridge High School has announced his decision to head to the Vols. He has kept his commitment in secret, and has had us scooped for months now, but we now know where he will head. He was a Army All American, and had offers from Tennessee, Ohio State, Alabama and others.
8:33 AM:
-Mecole Hardman commits to Georgia
"Its time to get a national title back to Georgia." This was his statement just minutes ago, has Mecole commited to Georgia over SEC schools such as Alabama, Tennessee, and others. Hardman Jr. is a five star recruit, ranked 15th nationally and the #1 ranked ATH in this years class.
8:40 AM:
-Brian Burns to FSU
One of the top Defensive Ends in this years class, Brian Burns elects to go to Florida State. This adds onto what already is a strong recruiting class. The five star recruit is currently ranked #22 overall, and ranked as the #5 DE in the ESPN 300 for this years class.
9:23 AM:
-Trayvon Mullen commits to Clemson
The replacement for Mackensie Alexander is here. Trayvon Mullen out of Cocount Grove, FL, commits to Clemson over FSU and others for the year. This is a strong add for the team, as he displays great speed with a 4.37 in the 40. He is ranked 18th overall in this years class.
9:37 AM:
-No. 1 Safety Heads to Texas
Brandon Jones has made his decision. "Hook'em Horns." The Number 1 overall safety in the class chose Texas over Baylor and Texas A&M. He is sure to compete for playing time and possibly an immedate starting spot.
9:40 AM:
-Four-star Mayden commits to Alabama
Four-star cornerback Jared Mayden committed to Alabama on Wednesday. Mayden is ranked 56th overall among recruits in the class of 2016 and is the fourth-ranked cornerback in the country, according to Scout.com. He was also considering Oklahoma and had pledged to Oregon before decommitting last month.
9:45 AM:
-Mykel Jones goes to Norman
Four-star wide receiver Mykel Jones joined National Signing Day Live to reveal his commitment to the Sooners. The Patterson, La., intrigued but ultimately looked over the SEC contenders, passing on contenders Alabama, Ole Miss and Tennessee to pick Oklahoma. Jones is the No. 45 wide receiver in the recruiting class of 2016, according to Scout.com.
10 AM:
Four-star safety Deontay Anderson announced his commitment to Ole Miss on Wednesday in a video of him skydiving. Anderson, an Under-Armour All-America honoree, visited Ole Miss, Texas and LSU in January before coming to a decision. Scout.com ranks him the 57th overall player in the class and the No. 4 safety in the country.
10:05 AM:
-Cleveland flips his commitment
Tyrie Cleveland, a four star wide receiver from Texas, has flipped his commitment. The receiver has been commit to Houston as of late, until he posted a tweet this morning. He is now a member of the Florida Gators. He is a key add to the Gators recruiting class.
10:10 AM:
-Shyheim Carter sticks to Bama
Carter is sticking with Alabama. Even though he took an official visit to Miami this weekend, and Nick Saban was extremely displeased. But he stuck true to his commitment, and now plays for the defending national champions. He is the 98th rated player in this year’s class.
10:15 AM:
-5 Star Ben Davis Goes to Bama
The #1 rated inside linebacker is going to Alabama. His commitment was clear when everyone noticed the Bear Bryant hat he donned when announcing the decision. He is the #1 LB and the 11th overall player in this year’s class.
10:18 AM:
-Jacob Mathis picks Ole Miss
The 6'6", 225-pound product is considered the No. 203 overall recruit and No. 8 tight end in the class of 2016, according to Scout.com. He is prized for his excellent pass-catching ability. When looking at the TE, Hugh Freeze raves about his skill set, claiming his hands are one of the best in the country.
10:20 AM:
-Jamel Cook surprises many, goes to USC
A four-star safety from Miami (Fla.) Central, Jamel Cook, surprisingly committed to USC on Wednesday afternoon. The touted defensive back was widely expected to sign with Florida State after he committed to the Seminoles in February 2015 but had received increased interest from Alabama, Louisville, USC and LSU over the past months.
10:25 AM:
-AJ Brown is all for Hotty Totty
Four-star wide receiver A.J. Brown announced on Wednesday that he has committed to Ole Miss.
The Starkville, Miss. native is the fifth-ranked receiver and 52nd overall player in the class of 2016, according to Scout.com. He chose the Rebels over Mississippi State and Alabama.
10:26 AM:
-3 Star Willams Flips to Tennessee
A former Miami commit, Latrell Williams has decided to part ways and head to the Vols instead, This is the second recruit Tennessee has been able to steal from Miami, and thus they are strengthening their recruiting class because of it. Meanwhile, Miami must now rely on one of their WR targets (Davis, Richards) to commit to the Canes. Wide Receiver is a key need, as they lose two to graduation.
10:50 AM:
-4 star Erick Fowler flips to Texas
Erick Fowler has his mind set, and on National Signing Day, he committed to the Texas Longhorns. He claimed LSU was his dream school, and committed to them, but Texas made a late push. Fowler is the No. 21 defensive end in the nation for the class of 2016 and No. 7 at his position in Texas, according to Scout.com. He was a U.S. Army Bowl All-America selection this year.
10:55 AM:
-Dontavious Jackson is a Seminole
The highly recruited four star prospect has decided to go to FSU, who already have a #3 ranked recruiting class, are sure to make a push for the top spot. He spotted over 50 scholarship offers, but for the next 3-4 years, he is staying home. He was the #4 ranked linebacker according to Scout.com
11:10 AM:
-Drake Davis heads to LSU
At first it was considered that he was going to Alabama, and it was speculated that he would join Saban on national signing day. But Drake Davis is heading to LSU to give Brandon Harris some much needed weapons on offense, since after all Fournette cant carry the team on his own. He was the #10 ranked WR in this class, and played at the prestigious IMG Academy, one of the best high schools in America.
11:15 AM:
-"Another One," Florida State gets another recruit on NSD
Four star Carlos Becker has decided to head to FSU in hopes for a national title. He chose FSU over Ohio State, its main competition. The CB has been rising in stock as of late, as his senior year campaign brought him from a 3 star prospect to the top 150.
11:20 AM:
-Craig-Myers goes back to Auburn
Nate Craig-Myers has decided to recommit with the Auburn Tigers after opening his recruitment a while back. He chose the Tigers over the UNC Tar Heels. This is a key add to the Auburn offense, as their offense has been unstable since the departure of Nate Marshall. Not to mention Ricardo Louis (the man who made the Miracle catch vs Georgia two years ago), their leading receiver is graduating. He can play immediately for starting time. Craig-Myers is the top ranked receiver and the 52nd overall player in the class (Scout.com).
11:30 AM:
-McCulloch heading to Austin
Jeffery McCulloch announced today that he is heading to Austin, Texas to play for the Texas Longhorns. He is the #3 OLB and the #43 ranked player in the class. He is sure to make an impact on the team, as he is already receiving comparisons to Jadeveon Clowney and JJ Watt.
11:45 AM:
-Malepeai flips to USC
Four-star running back Vavae Malepeai flipped his commitment from Oregon to USC on Wednesday. Malepeai is ranked as the No. 16 running back in this year's class, according to Scout.com. He had been committed to Oregon since June, but reportedly changed his mind after taking an official visit to USC last weekend.
12:11 PM:
-Manuel flips to FSU
Four star DT Shavar Manuel has decided to go to FSU, flipping his commitment from Florida. The prized recruit is the #10 DT and the #84 ranked player in this class. He kept Florida State in his options, even when he was committed to Florida. He took an official trip to Tallahassee, and suddenly had a change of heart.
12:30 PM:
-Connor Murphy passes Michigan, commits to USC
The Phoenix native passed on an opportunity to play at Michigan, instead joining the Trojans' 16th-ranked class, according to Scout.com's team ratings. Murphy is considered the No. 230 overall recruit and No. 27 defensive end in the class of 2016, according to Scout.com. He is a "great looking prospect from a physical standpoint," Scout says. "Has all of the tools to be a big time player. Is tall, long, has good strength and can run. Still developing and raw physically, but the future is bright as he continues to grow.
12:35 PM:
-Dickerson goes to Tallahassee
FSU gets ANOTHER recruit in this years class with the addition of 4-star OL Landon Dickerson. He was a US Army all-american player this year. According to Scout.com, he is the #76 player overall, and the #4 OL.
12:45 PM
-Five-Star commits to Miss. St
Jeffery Simmons, a five-star defensive end from Macon, Miss., committed to Mississippi State on Wednesday afternoon. Simmons was deciding between the Bulldogs, Ole Miss and Alabama.
Standing at 6’ 4” and 270 pounds, Simmons is one of the best prospects to emerge from the state of Mississippi since five-star defensive end Chris Jones committed to Mississippi State in 2013.
1:05 PM:
-Kristian Fulton is going to Louisiana
As expected, Fulton committed to LSU just moments ago. He was expected to go to the school ever since he made an official visit, and within the OV said "LSU was his dream school." A 6-foot, 172-pounder, Fulton is ranked as the No. 3 cornerback and No. 34 overall recruit in the class of 2016. He joins five-star Saivion Smith, the No. 2 cornerback in this year’s recruiting class, and four-star safety Eric Monroe in forming a loaded secondary for LSU.
1:13 PM
RASHAN GARY COMMITS TO MICHIGAN
It has been decided, as the Number 1 recruit in the nation is heading to Ann Arbor. He chose Michigan over Clemson, Alabama, Auburn and others. The player currently boasts over 50 scholarship offers, Athough there was a late push made by Clemson, which even involved sending him a cake, he went with Jim Harbaugh and the Wolverines.
2 PM:
-5 Star JUCO recruit goes to Knoxville
Five Star DE Jonathan Kongbo has decided to go to Tennessee for the 2016 season. A 6' 6", 265-pound recruit from Arizona Western, Kongbo chose to play for the Volunteers over USC. He’s ranked as the No. 5 juco player in the class of 2016, according to Scout.com.
2:05 PM:
-Lynell Wilson dabs his way to Tuscaloosa
Four-star linebacker Lyndell “Mack” Wilson has committed to Alabama, choosing the Crimson Tide over Georgia after visiting both schools in January. The Montgomery, Ala., product is ranked by Scout.com as the No. 46 overall player in the 2016 class and the No. 2 inside linebacker.
Wilson, who is listed at 6' 2", 230 pounds, was an Under Armour All-America honoree this year but is perhaps best known as the recruit who dabbed with Alabama coach Nick Saban.
3:15 PM:
-Derrick Brown = War Eagle
Derrick Brown, the No. 9 overall prospect and the No. 4 defensive tackle in the class of 2016, according to Scout.com, has committed to Auburn. The five-star recruit picked the Tigers over Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi State and Tennessee, and he immediately provides a boost to coach Gus Malzahn's incoming haul.
3:20 PM:
-Juarez sticks with hometown, selects UCLA
Mique Juarez is staying in his home state for college. The North Torrance (Calif.) High standout announced on National Signing Day that he is headed to UCLA. Juarez chose the the Bruins after identifying UCLA and Ole Miss as his top two last month. The No. 1 outside linebacker and No. 8 player in the class of 2016, Juarez committed to USC last January but elected to reopen his recruitment in October, after the school fired former coach Steve Sarkisian. He had since been referred to as a UCLA “lean.”
3:30 PM:
-De La Salla standout leans towards Michigan
Four-star tight end Devin Asiasi committed to Michigan on Wednesday. Asiasi is the No. 67 overall recruit in the class of 2016 and the No. 4 tight end, according to Scout.com. The De La Salle High product had narrowed his choices down to Michigan, UCLA, USC, Washington and Alabama in recent weeks, but chose Ann Arbor as his favorite.

3:35 PM:
-Teamate Tagaloa heads to UCLA
As thought of a package deal with these two players, Boss Tagaloa has decided to move his seperate way, and chose UCLA on signing day. Tagaloa is the No. 87 overall prospect in the class of 2016 and the No. 12 player at his position, according to Scout.com. He selected UCLA over Michigan, Cal and USC, among other schools.
4:00 PM:
-Ahmon Richards goes to The U
Currently ranked as the #27 receiver in this years class, RIchards recently commited to Miami. Despite late pushes by Auburn and Alabama, coaches were confident that he would commit, and he did. This is a huge addition to what looks to be a Top-15 recruiting class. With the receiving core of highly touted speedster Sam Bruce, 4 star Dionte Mullins (who made an incredible one handed catch in the UA All-American Game), and Ahmon Richards, the Canes are set to reload and have one of the top receiving cores in the ACC.
4:43 PM:
-Jack Jones picks Trojans
Five star ATH Jack Jones has decided to go to the University to South California. The Number 15 overall recruit and is speculated as the top ATH in the class along with Mecole Hardman Jr. He looks to make an immediate impact for the team and create a deadly cornerback/ATH duo with Adoree Jackson.
