It seemed that many teams and analyst were skeptical about a bunch of the top prospects. In year’s prior, there was a better sense of what would transpire. Last night however, we saw many surprises and the unexpected happened.

Jesus Martinez | Main Columnist

The NFL Combine. This event in Indianapolis determines the fate of many prospects. Whether one player has the ability to get drafted all depends on his 40 time, or his play during the on field workouts. It can make or break players. For some people, they thrive in the combine. Gym freaks who love to workout every day. Today I highlight 5 players who will perform at an elite level at the NFL Combine, some who could possibly shatter a record and most who could raise their stock dramatically...

Join us as Jesus Martinez and Chris Giraldo debate certain fantasy football topics, and ultimately assist you in a possible championship year. Are you ready?
Jesus: This year of fantasy football is very interesting? In many mock drafts we are seeing Wide Receivers taken BEFORE Running Backs. It is the first time in recent history that this is happening, which leads me to my first question..

The All-Pro New England Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski will be on the Madden 16 Cover, as announced by EA Sports just hours ago. He beat out other finalists Cam Newton and Antonio Brown. He is coming off what would be a great day, as he was on the cover of G.Q today with Hailey Clauson.

8:16 PM: RAMS SELECT JARED GOFF
With the 1st pick in the 2016 NFL draft the Los Angeles Rams select.. QB Jared Goff.
No surprise here, this team is in desperate need of need a of a franchise QB and they got one. His accuracy is a bit of a concern but he has great pocket mobility and will be a star in the NFL.

Top Two Picks traded away; what it could mean for the NFL Draft:
Jesus Martinez | Main Columnist
Within two weeks we witnessed the landscape of the NFL alter completely, as the Tennessee Titans and the Cleveland Browns both traded away their top picks to the Eagles and Rams. In a wild week, we now know that the top two picks will most likely be quarterbacks. The NFL Draft is now only 5 days away, but the trades within these teams will affect them for decades to come. Here is a look at each trade for the 4 teams mentioned.

Who should Big Blue take 10th overall?
Chris Giraldo | Multi Sports Writer
The New York Giants have a top 10 pick for the second straight year. Last year they took Ereck Flowers, out of Miami and plugged him into the left tackle position. Now the question is, who should they draft this year? With Quarterback virtually the only position the Giants aren’t in need, there is a range of options. Do they want to add another wide receiver to pair up with Odell? Do they add a talented running back in Ezekiel Elliot? Do they solidify the offensive line with someone like Stanley or Conklin? Could they draft a linebacker, something they haven’t done in a long time? How about a corner or a defensive end? Despite being called a “weak class”, there is a lot of talent out there and the Giants cannot afford to make the wrong pick.

Martinez Mock Draft 1.0
Jesus Martinez | Multi Sports Twitter
Free Agency changed the thought of many analysts draft predictions. The Giants made their presence known in Free Agency, by signing in excess of $200 million dollar through the signings of players such as Olivier Vernon and Janoris Jenkins. Other teams such as the Indianapolis Colts, have decided to resign their players and wait till the NFL Draft to pick the top prospects in the collegiate level. Taking into the fact that free agency changed the draft strategy of multiple teams, here is my perceived Mock Draft for the first round.

Broncos win Super Bowl 50
Jesus Martinez | Multi Sports Writer
There is no time remaining, the football year is over, and it had its glorious ending, with a dominant champion. This is the Denver Broncos, the Super Bowl 50 Champions. They beat the Carolina Panthers 24-10 on Sunday, as their Defense dominated the contest. They were able to force two turnovers and get six sacks on Cam Newton, a Super Bowl record. Von Miller was awarded MVP, he had 2.5 Sacks, with two strip-sacks resulting in turnovers. Peyton Manning finished what was likely his last game with a Super Bowl Game. The defense created problems and it led to a well-deserved Super Bowl for the Broncos.

Super Bowl 50 Predictions
Jesus Martinez | Main Columnist
The Super Bowl is following a familar line: No #1 Offense vs No #1 Defense. Cam Newton looks to win his first Super Bowl, and usher in a new era in the NFL. Peyton Manning Peyton Manning is familiar with this, as he had a recordbreaking offense in 2013, but the Seahawks were too much, as they demolished 43-8. Now, the Broncos have the Number 1 defense in the NFL, as it is evident due to Peyton Mannings unstable offense. We saw their Number 1 ranking proven in the AFC Championship Game when the Patriots were beaten 20-18. Tom Brady was sacked 4 times and had two interceptions. He got hit 16 times, the most QB hits since 2006! Meanwhile, the Panthers host a No #1 Offense, with MVP Cam Newton leading the charge with an explosive Panthers team, which resembles the 1985 Chicago Bears. However, having a No #1 offense doesn't guarentee Super Bowl winning results. So does the motto "Offense wins games, Defense wins championships" follow suit? Or does Cam Newtons offense dance their way to the Lombardi Trophy? Here are some predictions by our writers:
Jesus Martinez: This will finish out as one of the greatest Super Bowls we have ever seen. Period. Cam Newton is enjoying one of his greatest years as a QB, and it’s clear this team will dominate for years to come. Their defense is ranked #3 in the NFL, and they play with looseness and swagger that no one in the NFL has had. That being said, Peyton Manning is play his last game of his career, and everyone on that team knows that. There are statistics and metrics, but there is one thing you cannot measure in football, and that is the heart, the heart and spirit of a team.
Broncos 24, Panthers 21
Chris Giraldo: Peyton Manning went through one of the most turbulent years of his career, and at the end he is one win away from his second ring. Hollywood couldnt write what we noticed. This will likely be the last game of his career, and a win would immortalize him as one of the greatest QB;s to ever play the game. Their defense is a cut above, as they shut down Tom Brady's offense, in a game which the Patriots were favored heavily.
Broncos 27, Panthers 24
Raul Polomo: Is that even a question? Cam Newton! MVP of the 2015-16 season?!? Panthers all the way.
Panthers 28, Broncos 14
Bailey Bertot: Peyton Manning is about to be taken to school just like he did to Eli his entire career. Panthers win, and if the Broncos do win, it will be because of their defense. Peyton Manning is done, he doesn’t have an arm anymore. They can win if Cam Newton throws three pick 6’s out of sympathy.
Panthers 24, Broncos 16
Xavi Alvarez: Peyton Manning is going to resurrect and go beast mode on the Panthers one more time.
Broncos 41, Panthers 10

It was announced today that the Cleveland Browns are parting ways with Johnny Manziel in order to free up cap space. This resulting after another incident with Johnny Manziel and his girlfriend. Looking back on Calvin Johnson
Jesus Martinez | Main Columnist
On January 30, 2016, Calvin Johnson announced his retirement from the NFL. A young man from the likes of Newman, Georgia, Calvin Johnson was one of the most exciting players in the NFL. Arguably one of the best wide receivers of our generation, we all knew that he was going to be special.
