Jake Butt is/will fly under the radar in this draft for a multitude of reasons. First, there’s the torn ACL he suffered in the Orange Bowl vs FSU. Next is the fact that he is not at the level of other TE prospects like O.J Howard and Evan Engram. But, Jake Butt remains a solid prospect because he has great hands and works well on short routes and intermediate ones. Despite not being fast nor uber-athletic, Butt can make defenders miss in the openfield. His blocking isn’t great but he’s not a liability out there. The injury will definitely cause him to slide in the draft, making him a great mid-round gem.

Projection: 3rd-4th
