As we reach the start of pro days, let us commence the start of the road to the NFL Draft with the first of many mocks on this website. Whether you are just a fan looking for your favorite players from your favorite universities, a NFL fan seeing who you will be taking this year, or just a draft geek, we will provide for all. No more talking. Here is the first edition of the Martinez Mock Draft, post-combine season. In this draft, no trades are made whatsoever, as we can't predict the randomness of draft day. We are simply attempting to predict what selections GM's will make to benefit their respective teams. So let's get this underway..

Thoughts after Round 1:
Within an interesting first round in this draft, we see a couple of unique selections towards the end of the first round. Brad Kaaya is seen as the biggest riser here, as he jumps all the way to the 25th pick, reclaiming his first round status from the start of the year. The Texans are back to a desperate need in the Quarterback spot, as they have all the pieces to contend for a title, but lack an effective starting QB. Brad Kaaya is a good fit here, as his ability to throw in the pocket is far superior from anyone in this class. One of the pest polished passers in the 2017 draft, and an underrated prospect who deserves his hype. I wouldn't be surprised to see him rise up boards after pro day's and team workouts. Three Tight Ends selected in the first round is an actual possibility, as this years class is the best in recent memory. David Njoku and OJ Howard could likely see themselves as top 20 picks, and Engram has the capability to creep up to the end of round 1, as his athleticism for a Tight End is worth noticing. Leonard Fournette to the Panthers would be an interesting development, as him and Cam Newton would create an interesting combination that could torch up league defenses for the next decade.
