On January 30, 2016, Calvin Johnson announced his retirement from the NFL. A young man from the likes of Newman, Georgia, Calvin Johnson was one of the most exciting players in the NFL. Arguably one of the best wide receivers of our generation, we all knew that he was going to be special.

Chargers stay in San Diego for 2016 Season

After a roller-coaster process of the NFL relocation process this off-season, the Chargers have decided to stay in San Diego for the 2016 season. The chairman, Dean Spanos, claims that the staff will negotiate with politicians and businessmen about creating a new stadium. This comes a sigh of relief to many Chargers fans, who believed San Diego would be leaving to LA after announcing that the Chargers and the Rams would share Inglewood stadium, a $1.4 billion dollar stadium set to be made in 2017. This would be similar to the current partnership the New York Giants and Jets are currently having with Metlife Stadium.
